Installing Antispam agents is more Simpler and Easier In Exchange 2010
Step 1 :
Open Exchange Management Shell
Browse Into The Scripts Folder
By Default It will be in the Installation Location
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\v14\Scripts
Step 2 :Â
Script is already available in the Scripts folder by default
.\install-AntispamAgents.ps1
Type it and Press Enter
Step 3 :
You can see this.
To Finish the Installation
Restart Microsoft Exchange Transport Service
Step 4 :
You can view Anti Spam Option Now in your Hub Transport Server

I am getting error and prompting me for full access to networking – can u help me with it?
.\install-antispamagent.ps1 did installed I cant enable the automatic updates when I run
Enable-AntispamUpdates -Identity syno1 -IPReputationUpdatesEnabled $True -MicrosoftUpdate RequestNotifyDownload -UpdateMode Automatic -SpamSignatureUpdatesEnabled $True
it throws an error stating no full permission for networking.
any help would be highly appreciated.
I did gave fullpermission on transport, replayand pickup… still the same
did restarted transport service too…
can you get me the complete error ?
Do we require 24/7 internet for agents to be updated

You got to install on the internet facing server . if all our internet facing . any hub may receive email . in that case. you wil have to install on those Servers

We have a 3rd party antSpam and antiVirus program for external emails and we have Symantec end point protection for inside emails, so my understanding is we don’t need Exchange 2010 built-in antiSpam agents to be installed on our Hub tranport servers. am i right?

We have two node Exchange 2010 multi role servers. We have not enabled anti-spam agent in any server.We are using Barracuda as smart host and anti spam firewall. We have just noticed that any authenticated user can spoof sender email address and relay thought default receive connector. I don’t know this issue is related to this topic or not but need to your help to avoid this. We want to stop any application who are using any receive connector whether it has anonymous users permission.
If any user can relay. check active directory permissions. if exchange connector is not the issue.
